AceInfo Participates in American Meteorological Society (AMS) 99th Annual Conference

For the seventh consecutive year, AceInfo demonstrated the company’s strong commitment to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Weather Services (NWS)’s Weather-Ready Nation (WRN) by participating and exhibiting our capabilities at the AMS Conference, the world’s largest yearly gathering for the weather, water, and climate community. Held from January 4-10th, the conference brought together a diverse set of scientific disciplines and provided a forum where exhibitors communicated their unique capabilities to decision-makers, academia, and weather enterprise professionals. More than 90 companies and organizations along with AceInfo exhibited at the conference which was attended by over 3,000 professionals. Throughout the conference, AceInfo Directors Alan Kaufax and Kevin Starr met with hundreds of professionals and other weather information technology businesses, discussing new technologies, business strategy and potential partnering opportunities.

In addition, AceInfo employees Dr. Carly Buxton and Dr. Huiqing Liu presented technical papers from their work supporting the NWS’s Meteorological Development Laboratory (MDL). Prior to the conference, AceInfo participated in a two-day student career fair that featured extensive interaction with potential meteorology candidates as well as re-enforcing partnerships with several Atmospheric Science/ Meteorology Universities.
