Each year staff at the USCG Operations Systems Center (OSC) takes time out of the workday and holiday preparations to assist the less fortunate in West Virginia. This year, as in the past, an Angel Tree was established. An Angel Tree is similar to the traditional Christmas Tree, but decorated with tags representing under privileged children in the area. Each Tag represents a child and includes a request for a Christmas present. These gift requests range from Winter coats, shoes and clothing, to toys and video game systems. This year, AceInfo, and the project staff located at OSC in Martinsburg, WV donated over $1800 to make a better Christmas for children on the Angel Tree.
